The formulation supports higher viable cell densities (VCD) and prolonged cell viability in fed-batch cultures up to date 14 compared to conventional media, resulting in improved titers and process performance. It has been extensively evaluated using CHO-S, CHO-DG44, and CHO-K1 cell lines, ensuring robust growth and consistent results. Suitable for applications from process development to large-scale manufacturing, ForCHO® Medium Plus provides reliable performance and seamless integration into existing bioprocess workflows.

ForCHO® Medium Plus is a chemically defined, animal component-free and protein-free medium specifically developed for CHO cell culture and high-performance bioproduction. It is designed to support high viable cell densities and sustained cell viability in fed-batch processes over extended culture durations (up to 14 days), enabling increased protein titers and consistent process performance. Fully compatible with ForCHO® feeds, it provides a robust, scalable, and reproducible platform suitable for process development, technology transfer, and large-scale biomanufacturing, including biosimilar production.
